Kommissary SMS Program Terms & Conditions

Program Description
Kommissary operates an SMS delivery-reminder program for clients enrolled in partner care programs, including the SCN SOMOS Care Network. Enrolled clients who opt in receive text messages from Kommissary notifying them of their scheduled food and essentials deliveries.
How Clients Opt In (Call-to-Action)
Opt-in consent is collected verbally during phone-based enrollment into a Kommissary-supported care program. A trained enrollment representative reads the following script to the client and records consent, the client's phone number, and a timestamp in Kommissary's enrollment system:
"Before we finish up, I want to ask if you'd like to receive text message reminders from Kommissary. These are reminders about your scheduled food and essentials deliveries -- we'll text you the day before each delivery to let you know what time window to expect the driver. It's usually one or two messages around each delivery, and they come from Kommissary only. These are not marketing or promotional messages. Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile plan. You can reply STOP at any time to stop receiving the messages, or reply HELP if you need help. Your phone number and your consent to receive these messages will only be used by Kommissary for these delivery reminders -- we will not share them with any third parties, including care-program partners, for marketing or any other purpose. Do you consent to receive SMS delivery-reminder messages from Kommissary at the phone number [representative repeats phone number back to client]?"
A verbal "yes" is required before the client is enrolled in the SMS program. No messages are sent to a phone number until affirmative verbal consent has been captured and recorded.
Message Frequency
Recurring messages tied to the client's delivery schedule -- typically one to two messages per scheduled delivery.
Message and Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply depending on the client's mobile plan.
Opt-Out
Reply STOP to any Kommissary message at any time to unsubscribe. You will receive a confirmation and no further delivery reminders will be sent. Additional opt-out keywords accepted: CANCEL, END, QUIT, UNSUBSCRIBE, REVOKE, STOPALL.

No Third-Party Sharing of SMS Data
Mobile phone numbers and SMS opt-in consent are never sold, shared, rented, or transferred to any third party, affiliate, or partner -- including our care-program partners (e.g., SCN SOMOS Care Network) -- for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
